Do you know Sacred Threads? (http://sacredthreadsquilts.com)
Since 2001 Sacred Threads is a biennial exhibition of quilts dealing with the topics of spirituality, inspiration, healing and personal strength.
“In a hectic era when people are searching for meaning and spirituality in their busy lives, we felt this concept would be accepted and welcomed”, says founder Vikki Pignatelli and since then 8 shows prooved her right.
Each exhibition is divided into categories such as Expressions of Joy, Spirituality, Inspiration, Grief, Healing and Peace/Brotherhood. The quilts provide thought-provoking insights, encouragement, inspiration and healing responses to grief and human hardships.
The show does not emphasize any particular religion or theology but conveys the spirituality, healing and inspirational messages that transcend all people.
